സമയവും ദിവസവും പറയാൻ പഠിക്കാം, ട്ടോ. ആരെങ്കിലും ചോദിച്ചാൽ, ‘ഇപ്പോ സമയം എത്രയായി?’ പറയാം, ‘ഇപ്പോ പത്ത് മണിയായി.’ ഇന്നത്തെ ദിവസം ഏതാ? തിങ്കൾ, ചൊവ്വ, ബുധൻ, വ്യാഴം, വെള്ളി, ശനി, ഞായർ. ഇന്ന് വെള്ളിയാഴ്ചയാണ്. സമയം പറയുമ്പോ ഉപകാരമുള്ള വാക്കുകൾ — രാവിലെ, ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക്, വൈകുന്നേരം, രാത്രി. ‘നാളെ കാണാം’ എന്നോ ‘മറ്റന്നാൾ വരാം’ എന്നൊക്കെ പറയാം. ഇത്രയും ഓർത്താ മതി!

Samayavum divasavum parayaan padhikkaam, tto. Aarengilum chodichaal, ‘ippo samayam ethrayaayi?’ Parayaam, ‘ippo pathu maniyaayi.’ Innathe divasam ethaa? Thinkal, chovva, budhan, vyaazham, velli, shani, njaayar. Innu velliyaazhchayaanu. Samayam parayumpo upakaaramulla vaakkukal — raavile, uchaykku, vaikunneram, raathri. ‘Naale kaanaam’ enno ‘mattannaal varaam’ ennokke parayaam. Ithrayum orthaa mathi!

Let’s learn to tell time and days. If someone asks ‘what time is it now?’ say ‘it’s ten o’clock.’ Which day is today? Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Today is Friday. Useful time words — morning, noon, evening, night. You can say ‘see you tomorrow’ or ‘I’ll come the day after.’ Just remember this much!
