💡 The 'oru' trick

When counting things, 'onnu' becomes 'oru' before the noun: oru chaaya, oru auto, oru minute. Honestly, 'oru' might be the most-used word in Malayalam - 'oru' this, 'oru' that. Sprinkle freely.

Mini dialogue — act it out

You: Chetta, ithu ethra?
Brother, how much is this?

Vendor: Pathu rupa.
Ten rupees.

You: Sheri, randu tharoo.
Okay, give me two.

Today’s task
