Aazhchayile divasangal — Days of the week

In short: The 7 days are: ഞായർ (Njaayar) Sunday, തിങ്കൾ (Thingal) Monday, ചൊവ്വ (Chovva) Tuesday, ബുധൻ (Budhan) Wednesday, വ്യാഴം (Vyaazham) Thursday, വെള്ളി (Velli) Friday, ശനി (Shani) Saturday. In speech people often add -aazhcha, e.g. Njaayaraazhcha ("Sunday").

When & how to use it

Add -aazhcha ("day/week") to a day name to say "on that day": Thingalaazhcha = Monday, Velliyaazhcha = Friday.
