How to Say "Here" and "There" in Malayalam

Ivide / Avide — Here / There

In short: "Here" is ഇവിടെ (ivide) and "there" is അവിടെ (avide). "This way / this side" is ഇങ്ങോട്ട് (ingottu); "that way" is അങ്ങോട്ട് (angottu).

When & how to use it

Notice the i- / a- pattern: ivide/avide (here/there), ithu/athu (this/that) - the i is near, the a is far.
