How to Say "I'm Angry" in Malayalam

Enikku deshyam vannu — I got angry

In short: To say "I'm angry", say എനിക്ക് ദേഷ്യം വന്നു (enikku deshyam vannu) ("anger came to me") or എനിക്ക് ദേഷ്യമാണ് (enikku deshyamaanu). ദേഷ്യം (deshyam) = anger.

When & how to use it

Malayalam often frames feelings as "coming": deshyam vannu ("anger came"), like urakkam vannu ("got sleepy").
