എനിക്ക് തിരക്കാണ്
Enikku thirakkaanu — I'm busy

In short: To say "I'm busy", say എനിക്ക് തിരക്കാണ് (enikku thirakkaanu). "I'll call you later" is ഞാൻ പിന്നെ വിളിക്കാം (njaan pinne vilikkaam). തിരക്ക് (thirakku) = busyness/rush.

When & how to use it

Soften a "no" with ippo pattilla ("can't right now") + pinne vilikkaam ("I'll call later"). It's polite and natural.
