In short: The Malayalam word for "rain" is മഴ (mazha) - which famously contains the unique zha sound. "It's raining" is മഴ പെയ്യുന്നു (mazha peyyunnu), and "take an umbrella" is കുട എടുക്കണം (kuda edukkanam).
