How to Say "Stop Here" in Malayalam

In short: To tell a driver "stop here", say ഇവിടെ നിർത്തു (ivide nirthu), or more politely ഇവിടെ നിർത്തിയാ മതി (ivide nirthiyaa mathi) ("just stop here"). On a bus: അടുത്ത സ്റ്റോപ്പിൽ നിർത്തണേ (adutha stoppil nirthane).

When & how to use it

Essential for autos and buses. Nirthiyaa mathi ("just stop") sounds polite; landmark it with "near that shop" for clarity.
