In short: Kerala mainly has two: മഴക്കാലം (mazhakkaalam) the rainy/monsoon season and വേനൽക്കാലം (venalkkaalam) summer. Others: ശീതകാലം (sheethakaalam) winter (mild), വസന്തം (vasantham) spring.
